Hi All Sill for sale NEED THEM GONE!!!!

For sale a brand new pair of Monroe load leveller Air assist estate rear shocks/dampers

These will fit ALL ESTATE 2.0 2.2 2.5 2.6 3.0 3.2 models without S/L rear shocks! designed as a upgrade for towing a caravan/heavy loads & work as a standard uprated damper unpressurized & will assist rear springs when inflated via a sh-radder valve which indicates to a gauge, then down 2 pipes to shocks.

so great if you tow a caravan or car trailer now & again just pump up & off you go deflate when you un-hitch!!  ;)

i payed £240 delivered & have had them 8/9months sat in garage.

im open to sensible offers i cannot return them because i didnt read the sellers terms & conditions to refund them 7days after reciept of purchase & i fitted them 2weeks after i bought them!!  >:(

i bought these New to retro fit instead of the S/L rear shocks thinking they were better than standard s/l ones but because i have lowered mine 55mm they would not work properly because the shock length is for standard ride height so instantly bottomed out, when pumped up springs fell out so i took them back off & found another pair of S/L shocks & adjusted the sensor so fitted for an hour & didnt even leave the driveway!!

Any questions P.M me as not always online & i will recieve email direct to my mobile  :y

OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS 161 Views last time coming up to caravaning season again!! Grab A BARGAIN!!!!!

i already got the chip fitted to mine  :y

But my lsd is breaked  :'( & want to fit a 3.45 or 3.70 not a 3.90 because it doesnt half drink the juice on motorway & yes it does go like hell when fitted!! if i had the cash ide of defo had it!! makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! (when it works!)

The speedo as i found out will only work with That Car  :( Ive tried 140mph & 160mph speedos & they wont work... (NO Idea Why!) only the police one i have works so ide check it on another car before you sell it mate just so you dont get any comeback  :-[

Can you Pm me a contact number.... Cheers Glyn

General Car Chat / Re: Windscreen smearing issues...
« on: 08 December 2012, 15:42:03 »
i use TFR Traffic Film Remover all over my car, its faded anyway & has no shine so doesnt bother me,

it removes all polish,wax,oils,fuel,bugs,tar,silicons,grease,salt... etc etc whatever can be thrown up off other road users,

if you have nice shiny paintwork it will remove all of your polish etc so you will defo need to re wax the body work after its dried!

its a harsh way of removing all dirt put it in a trigger bottle & leave car dry! spray all over car windscreens bodywork alloys everything but DONT LET IT DRY add more & use a worn out scotch pad (sponge 1side corse on other ask your wife she prob washes up with them!) to clean windscreen/windows the wiper blades & alloys only!! use a jetwash & wash off all of car then rewash with your normal basics carwash with HOT water sponge like normal. That should do the job

next day polish bodywork! if required...

if not hammer & nail in the O/S section of screen in drivers vision ,just lightly tap it & it will chip&break then give it a smack or 3 with your palm to send a spider crack across screen or the screen replacement company may just repair chip & ull be back to square 1!!

General Car Chat / Re: Can Rear camber be adjusted..???
« on: 08 December 2012, 15:17:15 »
mine isnt slammed just to see how low i can get it, if that was the case it would be even lower!
it could go another 45/50mm infact on rear & 20mm on front but thats just useless on our roads!!!

mine is lowered so the car sits level i dislike the way the estate sits so high on the back, i know its so you can carry a load etc & all the reasons why its designed like that,

i just prefer the sill line body moldings etc to sit horizontal & that huge gap above the rear tires gone,

all i wondered was if it could be adjusted in any way so answer is....

Yes if at standard height.
No if its been lowered.

Oh chris my rear bushes have actually pushed threw worse on N/S so metal to metal knocking atmo & rear steers abit now, ok so new polly bushes wont help the camber issue but should defo fix the other issue ive got on rear..

Hi all,

Basicly as post says can you adjust the rear camber?? i know the omega loves eating rear tires anyway on inside edges!!!

iva had the rear toe adjusted smack on & front aligned perfect etc apart from 1 front struts caster is out on strut top..

anyway i know lowering an omega throws everything out camber wise fronts can be adjusted on struts perfect but rears even worse?? 1500/2000miles 3000 if im really lucky!! to a pair of rear tires is starting to get annoying & on 19s getting harder to get good 2nd hand 255 35 19s 0r 265 30 19s!!

My last pair were measured roughly from outer to inner 6.0mm 5.2mm 4.0mm 3.2mm 2mm 0.0mm wires!!!

yes both rear subframe bushes are knackered hoping to pay for the polly ones this week but is there any way of adjusting the rear camber apart from cutting/welding the rear wishbones level??? DRASTIC I KNOW!!!

please help!! i dont really want to raise it back up

Chris on outer edges umm ide say no not really running 255 35 19s  on the 5th dec rears had 4mm on inner edges i went 2 shipley in yorkshire & back & checked them today & both are down to 2.90mm so worn off 1.10mm in 310miles outer edge is still showing just on 6mm if you can PM me your email i send you a pic of both rears you could upload for me..??
So if Kevs MV6 is 2.5 deg out mine only another 1.3..???
