Well, some jobs planned for my Mig soon are :

General service, eg oil, filters, brake fluid.
Change the autobox fluid and filter.
My car need a respray, I have most of the stuff, but not yet found somewhere to do it. I have never sprayed before, so could do with some a lot of help !.
I have almost all the bits to LPG my car, and want to do that as soon as I can.

Any one else with similar service plans that we can collaborate on ?.

Ken

I did the Oil and Oil Filter on mine on Wed, But ive still got a few jobs to do:

Autobox Oil Change
Rocker Gaskets x2
Spark plugs (x6 of course!)
Find the water leak
Rust on rear doors
Drivers door strap catch thing
And prob something else!

Now, I dont mind going 'All out', if we want a fix-it meet.

If i have a bit of notice I can happily Rebuild my air compressor etc into my trailer, along with 240v gen!

I have got a few boxes of genuine vauxhall sparkplugs too (if i can find them). So if anyone is after 4 or 6, PM me and then I can bring them with me for you!

I have a fair amount of tools I can bring.

I guess cambelt + tensioners too would be nice! (however I dont trust myself to actually put the belt on! - although I will remove everything upto this point!) ;D

I wonder if we could find somewhere to make a weekend of this? Tents + BBQ and a few drinks sound like an added bonus! :D

By the sound of it, most people would like a fix-it meet of some description! And the rest are happy whatever!

If were to do a fix-it meet, it maybe an idea for us all to list exactly what we need when we got the location / time etc set, and then order it all in one go (bulk buying). :y

Regarding the location this is your baby so you need to assertain who's attending. If it's just a few blokes a large layby will suffice or if folks are bringing wives /children a services or family pub might be more in order. Just a few things to consider. :y

Old Post Office Pub near Wakefield comes recommended - I know it's got a large car park... I'm up for a meetup, I'm not too far away. And I own a selection of hammers.

Aye could have two meets :). However... how far people would be willing to travel for a pub lunch is my biggest worry  :-/
