Drove from Telford to Coventry this morning no problem. Jumped in tonight at 6.30 to come home, started first time. Drove 100m round the corner to drop the keys off to the house i was working on, came back out and thats as far as i got :-[ Turning over ok but its having none of it, trying to go,plenty of fuel in it, so where do i start. I put V power in it this morning which it doesn't usually have, I wonder?

Any clues chaps [smiley=cry.gif]

Newbie Welcome Area / Omega Owners Site Guide - Please Read
« on: 23 November 2006, 19:47:47 »
A warm welcome from all at Omega Owners.com

This site is dedicated to all things Omega and we are sure you will be able to gain (and share) valuable knowledge from here to keep your Miggy where it belongs, ON THE ROAD!!!!

If you have joined other forums in the past I'm sure you will have no problems navigating your way around the site, if not here's some help to get you started.

Firstly, nobody on here bites, we are very friendly and all try our best to help each other as much as possible as we all share a common interest.

Please take your time to explore the site and to get to know this place better, We recommend you post below in the Welcome area so people can say Hello to you.

If you can supply as much information as possible on your profile it would be prefered as it helps us answer questions you may ask quicker and more accurately. Entering your personal information is of course your own decision and is not compulsory, but it would help if we could at least have the year, model and engine size of your Miggy along with your location.

The site has several areas as you can see:-

General Help is for asking question when your Miggy goes wrong or when you need to know anything mechanical about your car. Technical Info, Faq's and Maintenance sections are all related to this topic and are well worth checking first before you post in this section as your answer may already be in one of these sections. If you can't find it or are still unsure then ask away!

General Chat is what it says, you can talk about anything and everything as long as it is legal.

ICE and Electrical again speaks for itself, Anything Electrical should be posted here.

We also have a Gallery if you would like to post pics of your pride and joy.

Any Suggestions or Problems should be posted in these two relevent sections.

If you need to contact a member and would rather it was not posted on the general board you can send them a personal message. To do this click on their name and it will take you to their profile, click send a personal message. This is useful if you want to give out phone numbers or addresses etc etc. This is also applicable if you need to contact one of the Administrators or Moderators if you have a dispute or problem with the forum. Admins/ Mods can be found on the members list highlighted in RED or BLUE

 If you would like to post a pic or try something new you can post it in the Test Zone first if you wish to make sure it is working correctly.

Cars for Sale/Wanted and Parts for Sale/Wanted area, you are welcome to view these, but you will have needed to have made 250 posts before starting a new thread in these sections.  You may post wanted adverts in the test zone, where they will be reviewed and may be moved to the correct area.

You may have noticed members have different titles on this site, Newbie, Senior etc etc
This is basically relevant to your post count

Newbie                 = 0-50
Junior                  = 51-250
Intermediate        = 251-500
Senior                 = 501-1000

and so on..........

We also have Administrators and Moderators, these are the people who run the site and spend a lot of time and effort making sure the site runs smoothly and within the law.

At the top of the page you will see Home, Help, Search etc etc
If you want to search for a specific topic enter a key word into the 'search' box
If you need help with anything else click on the 'Help' box to see if an answer can be found there,if not don't be afraid to ask,we really don't bite and it will usually help other people aswell.

Once again Welcome to OmegaOwners.com and enjoy your stay :)

Cars for Sale & wanted / 1999 MV6 Manual
« on: 04 October 2008, 14:50:32 »
This is now for sale

116,000 miles, lots of history, mot and tax till feb, cambelt done 300 miles ago, leather including door cards, heated rear seats have been fitted but needs the short  harness with the relays on to complete. Drivers seat also heats up properly.

The doors have been replaced with facelift doors so NO rust on them, however there are some scratches on them and the osr door has a deep scratch and a dent. One rear door moulding needs replacing.
There is one small rust bubble on one of the quarter panels.

It drives really well as a few other members will tell you. The Alloys are not the best ive seen. one of them has been done, the others need doing. Front tyres are good, the rear ones will need replacing soon, but tbh i would be replacing these anyway as the ones that are on it look like they came from Poundland

Jobs that will need doing are, cam covers and a front hid level sensor As ive now tripped up over the Irmy one there is no room for this one.

    £750 to take it away

I know a few of us are going to the VBOA meet here in July, but there's a fair few of us who cannot make it that weekend :-/ Does anyone fancy a meet later on towards the end of August? I've added a poll to see about dates. Might be a goood idea to get another one in before our wonderful summer ends ::)

Take a look

Meetings, gatherings, parties etc / England Meets Scotland
« on: 25 February 2007, 23:25:42 »
Whilst in Brackley a few of us said how much we would like to meet a few of our nothern friends, obviously easy to say but much harder to organize and find a suitable place to meet. A few ideas were thrown around and Carlisle/ Lake District seemed to be a fairly obvious choice. Would anybody be interested in a weekend meet in this area around June :question
