Omega General Help / Air bag light on

I have the air bag light showing on the dashboard.

It's been on and off for years having been a fail on previous MOT's then it's reset passes the MOT and is back on.

With a diagnostics check I have established its a passenger air bag side fault.

I am struggling to upload pictures of the screen shot but the figures are

Drivers airbag squib circuit resistance 2.67 ohms, with the passenger airbag squib resistance at 1.92 ohms.Is the low figure the reason for the fault ?If so any ideas how to rectify ?

 



I will be able to get the car through the MOT but i would like the problem solved once and for all.

Hi there got me a new Opel 2.5td lovely car owned many now this one wont start first thing when cold just cranks for a minute then will go like lack of fuel but then will start fine all day long on and off and will start again if I turn it straight off it's as the plugs are not working but I'm thinking fuel is leaking during night no leaks though any help guys much appreciated

my mate is going to fit my chip and socket into my 2.5 td he has asked me to see if anyone has a status report for the chip he said it will be a big peice a paper telling you what the chip does and he said it will be in codes any help

hi there recently purchased myself a mv6 3.0 to go along side my elite drove it 300 miles not a problem but tonight cut out and was getting no spark yet let it cool down and started ive paper cliped it showing 19 done my research and crank sensor but to add to my problems my mate reckons it could be engine speed sensor any advise would be great cheers

just replaced me pump had it all gassed the air is cool but my air con chap said with how cold the return is in the engine bay it should be cooler inside but he doesnt no how to get it cooler inside or what could be stopping it coming threw any ideas lads and lasses

ok ive spent the last hour looking for how to change oil and filter on a auto box.
this is the first auto i have owned.ive read varouis things on here as to what i need to do remove the sumps and change filter and refit.
ok but what i need to no is ware will this filter be and will i see it and is there just one.
will i get the gasket and oil and filter from someware like halfrauds or will i have to use an auto supplier like listed on here

i will be in the pit all day tommrow changing my diff so im going to do my auto box oil
any tips will be great

ok i have  a whinning rubbing sound from the rear of my car i read a few post of what it could be but if i went down the scrap yard and got one of any omega would it fit mine a straight swap

right i have just became an owner of a 3.0 v6 this weekend i will be doing the rocker gaskets,cambelt & tensioners,tensioners full service but anyway to the point as im doing the belt i do not want to buy a locking kit for £60 just to use once so i was hoping that someone has one i could buy or borrow i will need it for this saturday 6/6/09 im in cannock staffs
hope someone has got one

hi guys im swapping my 2.5 td to a 3.0 v6.
im going to do the cambelt on it when i get it.
but there are so many types of belt kits i dont no which make and which is the best one to get.any help
 im changing all the tensioners and the belt also wares the best place to get them from cheap

need some help went to change my oil on my 2.5 td as some of you may no the filter cover is plastic with a 36mm socket needed to remove. i tryed to undo mine which was very tight that tight its now broke the plastic nut on top ive looked on here for one carnt see nothing anyone no ware i can obtain one no 2.5 breaking  in my area.also any ideas how to remove the old one now im thinking just smash it off and fit new one

hi guys for a while ive been trying to make my 2.5 faster well my ecu is getting solderd this saturday and my mechanic mate has told me when its chipped to turn up the turbo and said i will need a boost gauge any thoughts on what his doing will it be faster and will it be ok to do

hi guys just won an mv6 2000 plate off ebay not picked it up yet. the chaps told me it runs smooth but there is water coming out of the exuast and thinks it may be the head gasket, any ideas as i will soon have it on my drive
