Opel Omega Modifications Advice Needed
« on: 01 April 2013, 22:05:03 »

Hi There all
I have finally returned to the fold of Omega ownership. This time I have bought a year 2000 opel Omega Elegance. It is a rench model between the GLS and CD. I have a 2.5TD with manual 5 speed box. I would like to
a Incresase the BHP
b Improve the handling for twisty French roads
All suggestions would be appreciated
Mant Thaks in advance :y

Chips are available to bring it back to around BMW spec (so around 150bhp), but as well has a power increase, its makes the power delivery better IMHO.

Handling - is it a saloon or estate? Irmscher springs and Bilstein B4 shocks seem to work well for many...

Send either Omegatoy or I a PM stating ECU type, gearbox type and contact details (email prob best), and we can forward to the chip guy. I think he charges £70 from memory...
