I believe Serek uses the same setup on his own Omega :y

I would like a set, but they don't come cheap.  :y
I like the brake setup too, but don't really need it tbh.

You have to be going some to cook well maintained standard brakes - I can just about get across MK before they're spent if I'm on it.

But I generally change my pads before they are half worn, else they do fade badly when being abused.

From what I hear of Serek's solution is even with significant abuse, there is no fade :y

It seems that once again I am about to show my ignorance, but what is Serek's solution? Upgrased brakes?

With decent pads, ie not red or yellowstuff, the Monaro fronts don't fade either ;)

Thanks TB. I probably don't need souped-up brakes, but now that I'm seriously thinking of bringing my Omega back to pristine condition, I am looking at my options and noce things to do, as and when my pension allows.
I don't smoke, don't drink and don't chase after women, so why not?
Um, two out of three ain't bad!  :-X :-X :-X

I feel I never rarely needed uprated brakes on my old Omega (just good quality, well maintained components), and you imply that you push yours less than I pushed mine.

So I'd suggest you spend your hard earned in other areas :y
