Title: What is facelift/prefacelift?
Post by: TheBoy on 11 July 2006, 12:25:12
Want to know what all this talk of facelift/prefacelift is? Read on....

1994 - 1999 = Prefacelift. Original.
1998 - 1999 = mini facelift. Minor enhancements.
2000 - 2003 = Facelift. Major facelift, restyled exterior, new interior, better anti corrosion.

To tell if you have facelift, if your electric window switches are each side of the gearstick, you have prefacelift. If you have a bank of electric window switches on drivers door, you have facelift.

The differences between prefaclift and min facelift are subtle. Steering wheel controls for audio made appearance, MV6 and Elites get HID headlights, others get projector headlights. Engine enhancements.

All Vauxhall Omegas are Omega B. Some traders incorrectly call the facelift and Omega C, so if you see a reference to Omega C (which has never existed), they are referring to Omega B facelift.
