Having spent all yesterday preparing the Omega for its annual MOT the good news it has passed today and no advisories.
Not bad for a 1998 car.

Yay, another one lives for another year! Well done; it must feel good. :y :y :y

Happy days :y

Congratulaions!
I presume it's a PFL. Is it saloon or estate? Is there any reason you know why it romped through without advisory notes?
-
Presumably the certificate mentions it :-\
No mean feat on a 20+ year old car though :y

Well done. Its nice to see one of the earlier versions still going strong. Not many of them left on the roads now. :y

congratulations on the pass :)

check a car BEFORE MOT , sort out anything wrong BEFORE MOT
saves having to sort a big list of advisories ,or fixing and re-testing a fail :y

It is a saloon (pre-face lift 2.5 Elite). Current mileage is 55924.
It doesn't do too many miles nowadays but that creates its own problems, eg rusty brakes, discs, flat battery etc.
I spent a day looking over it before the MOT and that included a front and rear brake overhaul plus oil and filter change, wash and polish
I also dealt with the annoying rust blisters around the base of a couple of doors.
Looks great now
