Replacing saloon rear wing is a big task, easier to get yours straightened out IMO :y

That quarter panel already has a fair chunk of rust above the wheel arch, so I was hoping to replace it.
How many man hours to replace it, anyone here done it?

Thanks for all the offers to help out guys, much appreciated!  RobG got me sorted, very quickly too!

Just replaced the cluster, so at least it should be road worthy now.  Still looks a mess mind, need to replace bumper and quarter panel eventually (if and when I can source them).
Couple of pics:

Out of courtesy I think you should deal with Albitz (Albs) as you did contact him prior to posting the wanted ad :)

Yup, just replied to him.

I posted this after sending him PM as I saw he was Offline, wasn't expecting a reply till tomorrow!

On the rear quarter panel (F/L)??? Should have one here but it`ll be posted only, unless you can get sorted nearer

Yeah F/L, forgot to mention.
Could you post first class tomorrow?  If so, let me know how much and I'll pay over PM with address.

Hi there,

Just had the rather nasty surprise of finding that someone has clipped my car and not owned up to it!
My nearside rear brake light and indicator housing has been smashed, so I need to sort out a replacement ASAP.
Ideally someone in Hertfordshire or a nearby county so that I can pickup tomorrow maybe?  If not, delivery will have to do.

Until I get this replaced, is it legal to drive with the bare bulbs like that?  Anything I can do to patch it up?

Also there's a sizeable dent on the rear nearside corner of the bumper too.  So if anyone has a rear bumper in nocturnal blue with parking sensors, let me know.
I realise this will take longer to sort, so isn't as much of a concern for me now.

Thanks chaps, got it sorted.

Taking the SIM out and deleting in my phone was my plan, but thought I'd ask here beforehand in case there was a more convenient option.  Selo-taped the SIM back into the card and got a clear inbox now.  :y

Using summer tyres on one axle and winter tyres on the other is blatantly asking for trouble.  Nothing sensible about it.

As for winter tyres being useless at warmer temperatures, my mum forgot to remove her winter set last summer and had no issues, she drives a RWD 2.8 Merc.

The Sims breakout and normally leave the breakout pins intact on the holder, which means you can put another Sim in there with some masking tape or simular behing it to hold in situ, done loads like this but fully understand if you dont feel like messing with it.

Have you or anyone else done this with the NCDC 2015, if so I'll give it a bash.

If not I guess I'll end up doing it anyway haha, new SIM wouldn't be the end of the world.

It's the SIM I bought for the car 2.5 years ago.

Swapping in another would mean buying a new SIM as it needs to be held within the card holder itself. Like below:

The SIM itself remains in the card and isn't to be popped out.

Ahoy there, have any of you chaps come across a full inbox of messages on the NCDC 2015 that you weren't able to delete?

Basically my unit will display your inbox is full, you have 29 messages please delete etc...

But when I enter the Message sub menu the Phone part of the system does a reboot, I lose signal but the stereo is still working.  Sometimes I can't even select the Message sub menu as it is greyed out.

Ignoring the command doesn't help either as it pops every few seconds when you 'Return', especially annoying when using the in built sat nav.

Any ideas how I can get these messages deleted or get rid of the command?

Any pics, and what tyre size have you got fitted?

Have to admit I've been looking at the S-Type R too.

My sensible head says ST220.  Then ultra boring brain says get a diesel with lots of toys.

First of all, I'm not looking to change cars just yet.  Still very content with my 3.2 Elite.

I'm just struggling to think of anything to replace the Omega when it becomes necessary.

What have previous owners upgraded to, or what are you potentially looking at?

Doesn't have to offer the same comforts of an Omega, although would be nice!

Tbh I very rarely need to brandish my ABS card, I just ask for the trade price on what I'm after and sort me out.

No answer from James since Sunday, shame.

Need to get sorted Friday/Saturday, will just have to risk it locally.
