I wash my cars about three times a year, if they are lucky  ;D

Probably 3 times a week here  ;D

Na more like once a week with the 2 bucket method, But if it's filthy and i'm in the mood the pressure washer comes out with the special snow foam lance mainly to help prevent swirl marks with the 2 bucket method that follows... In winter once every 2 weeks probably, once a month tops.

Here's a snow foam pic for y'all to drool over  :D

That's one way to temporarily own a white Omega

Mine got washed last Sunday with AG pre-wash, then snow-foam, then rinse and dried using a Megs shammy leather... got to do it all again later today as it'll be on show tomorrow :)

I also use some Iron-X on the wheels to shift the brake dust, works a treat everytime and smells of berries LOL

Survived every single attempt by the gormless retards on the M40 to kill me. Why is the standard of driving so low?

Started it,once down to tickover catching noise from timing belt area still there-not loud or anything basically you have to have your head under bonnet to hear it.As said before very slightly louder at drivers side than passenger[using socket extension as stethoscope].Stopped engine took off auxiliary belt and re-started,noise still evident,so assuming it's timing belt/tensioners/rollers.Now I'm a bit stuck mot due next week,do I present car for mot and hope everything holds together and see how it fares?Or do I delay mot until I've had timing belt done and then hope that it doesn't fail the mot on something else expensive as by then I'll be too far into it not to have it fixed?

Booked my Astra in for MOT and oil service plus a small coolant leak somewhere. Had to ring up this morning and add squealing from aux belt when cold.

Pulled the old girl out from her hibernation and gave her a good clean late this afternoon.
Been declared off road for nearly two years now and although has been kept safely under cover was in dire need of being clay bar'd and given a good polish. EML light has mysteriously come on and the paper clip test suggests that it's the MAF  so I'll treat her to a new one to ensure she's fit for service when needed. The road tax system here in Ireland crucifies cars like these which makes it very uneconomical if you're doing little mileage but I just cannot bring myself to part with her . I'll definitely put her back on the road again next spring.

Meanwhile been enjoying this one after a two and a half year restoration. Running turbine like and with 220 horses on tap she can pick up her petticoat and fly. A lot of hard graft went to it , and all by myself, but I loved every minute of it .
Took it out on it's first real run today , 110 faultless miles on our local vintage club run .
