IIRC, the GM one went a bit silly on price. Is it still the one to buy? Or have we found a suitable pattern one?

I *think* this one may be 80k - definitely changed with HG...  ...although I vaguely recall changing it 3 or 4 years back, so might be newer.

That's the route I'm taking.  :y
Mine is due a cambelt so I'll get the kit with the water pump in if I can.

kit?

I bought a water pump branded "SKF" (I thought they only made bearings) from egay, and never fitted it as it looked poor quality. I think I gave it to a member here a couple of years ago  :-\

Put a QH one on the 2.5 and all good so far even though it had a plastic impeller  :y

I thought you only needed to change the water pump, when you do the belt, on a 4 pot....... :-\ :-\

I replaced mine at 160k and will change it again at 320k :y
