No not mine  Was someone on here mentioned it was new LAW  Something like , its a h&s measure so that the door dont blow open on its own an knock a cyclist off 

If that was the case it would be more of a "keeping it in position" so it was guaranteed the poor cyclist hit the door after you failed to look in the mirror, on a windy day.

I suspect a bit of a misunderstanding. A failed door bush can't fail, but I can see how a failed strap can.
