Hi all I have a 2.2 CD  the car with a spanner light came on the car seemed to run ok I tried the paper clip & pedal test now it wont start just clicks  put a battery pack on still wont turn over central locking not working as well any one any Ideas

no connection between engine not turning over & the warning light - that's for emissions. You sure your battery pack is charged .......  :-?
How about jumping it from A N Other car with some decent jump leads  :-/

you can't paperclip test a 2.2, are you sure you've not accidentally blown fuse 15? If it started ok before, i suspect you might have blown a fuse.

Do all dash lights come on correctly when you turn the ignition on?

Got It going with help of a breakdown company just put a booster pack on and it started no problem
