Fitted new front discs and pads. Don't you just know that when you purchase a new wear sensor that the old one will come out unscathed.  ::)
On another note, the new Michelin PS 4's really suit my Omega. It had become a bit wandery but now it drives like a different car. Noticeably more so than when I had the Goodyears new. Still a bit of tramlining when braking on uneven Tarmac repairs but much much better all around. Somehow they have even eliminated the straight ahead sloppiness in the steering, not quite sure how though.  :-\  It's like the car has been transformed so well chuffed at the moment.  :y
Good shout TB  :y as I very nearly had Goodyears fitted again.

Drove it to Guildford to catch a train to Waterloo to see Iliza's show at Southbank. Got as far as the bridge over the A3, aka two minutes from the station and got stopped by a fallen tree. Ninety minutes later and we're returning to Guilford having missed the show >:(

Played with Amba's stereo to sort that mute issue, then repaired my jump leads and put them back in the Jag.  The Omega is never here for me to put a set back in there ;D

Replaced the rear pads on the X260, probably the easiest brake pads I have ever done, a dream of a job.

Yes...TB removed the back board from the faulty unit and replaced it with the board from my original NCDC 2013 which had the faulty Nav unit.

All working at it should and a "Big Thanks " to TB for taking his time out again  :y

On November 1st R.J. King, local scrap merchant, collected my last 2.2 Omega. On November 10th I couldn't find my hinged 1/2" ratchet spanner anywhere, wanted it to fit a drop link on my Astra; in the end I managed without it. Today November 12th R.J. King arrived to collect my rusty 2.6. The driver got out of his cab, waving in the air my lost 1/2" ratchet, which he said fell off the car when he unloaded. There's honesty.
