Title: Light bulb in light switch
Post by: MonzaGSE on 08 March 2019, 07:51:14
There is a little light bulb in the back of the main light switch. 12v 0,5w with a small plastic base. Smaller than the instrument lights. Gm90511962. Where do people get hold of this? Cant really find online and the local Opel dealer said it was out of stock in Norway, «local» storage in sweden and main storage in Germany. Is there any other bulbs that fit? Maybe get 0,5w bulb without base and solder it in an old bulb base? Opel dealer send a request for me but im not holding my breath.

Somewhere there used to be a comprehensive list of bulbs used in Opel/Vauxhall Omega, including all the instrument bulbs. But I can't seem to locate it easily.

Is it like any of the bulbs to be found here (https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/dashboard-and-panel-bulbs/)? Perhaps the R509TMGY with grey base (https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/r509tmgy-dashboard-bulbs-12v-0.5w-grey.html)?

In that case it should be available in Norway. At least now you know what you're looking for.
