Scrapped my Omega :'(
Welcome to OOF
Boris has just come out of intensive care.
Great news for him and his family but also for the whole of the UK.
We need his leadership and ability to bang heads together because the last few days with Raab in charge seemed a bit rudderless. Mr R certainly doesn't ooze confidence like many great leaders do.
Sinak & Gove gave more polished performances.
Still, although we won't see Boris for a while, it's great news to hear he is well on the road to recovery.
Original had four edge pieces: 2 sides 1 top 1 bottom, and two rubbers 1 sides AND top 1 bottom.
Later has two edge pieces: 1 sides AND top, 1 bottom and same rubbers as earlier.
Entire frame and rubbers must be fitted to the screen BEFORE the screen is placed on the car
I have a 2003 2.6 saloon, and the last back box I fitted was actually a 2.2 back box, which many suppliers list as the same part anyway as the 2.6, having a single exit pipe. Mine fitted perfectly, and the exit pipe was the correct longer length, as some 2.5 boxes have shorter exit pipes which finish a little short of the bottom of the bumper cut out.
I also put a stainless end trim on it which neatly finished it off from an appearance point of view.
