Sorry Nick, Don’t think they were ever respectable 😁 on the other hand the Morris Marina …….🤣🤣

The woeful Marina was laughably seen as 'the future' when introduced in 1971......despite the antiquated engineering coming straight from the mid 1950's. :D ;D

For a long time now I've had a hankering for a morris traveller with a V6, Vauxhall or jag as a bit of a runabout, would make an amusing sleeper.

My Mum had a Morris Minor with an engine from a Austin Healy Sprite and Dolomite Sprint running gear. At least that's what I think it had, but whatever it was definitely a sleeper. The only clue was the slightly fatter wheels.  :y

Sooo...

You need a new MAF for a start. Again a picture of the engine bay will help a certain the correct one for your car.

A decent code reader to read the ABS ECU and see what it's complaining about, although that's potentially a wheel sensor or ECU fault.

Reseating the cluster might help with the rpm, but again, there could be an issue with the wiring that provides the signal or the cluster itself.

Any sign of moisture behind the driver's kick panel or under the carpet?
I cant access to ABS so that's I think its faulty.

Yeah, worth keeping the GM wishbones for that very reason.
Unfortunately, you're stuck with whatever is currently fitted to the car, and 21 years after the last one was built they're highly unlikely to be the genuine ones.

Does passing on the left if there's a clear lane between you count as undertaking, or could it be argued that it's safer than being sat up someones arse getting all pissed off about it? :-\

It was said a lot many years ago that WWIII would kick off in the middle east.A lot now depends on how Israel react/have reacted[not seen the news since first thing this morning].
Well, we're still here, so either they're pretending not to notice, or the response was measured.

If it does kick off properly, then that's all the flights to India and Asia scuppered as the safe air route runs south of Iraq and north of Somalia.

The idiot in the outside lane all the way from Towcester to Brakkers.  But I chose to intimidate him rather than undertake.

It's a Jaaaag, there's nothing potential about it ;)
I think it could be a schoolboy error on my part, so I may have to apologise for all the words I said about that Callum town.

Changed the oil in hers, purposely only to halfway up the dipstick to test a theory about a potential fault....
