Quite bizarre - for best part of 2 maybe 3 years I have had the emissions light come on and have regularly reset it - for last year light has been on almost all the time and I have generally ignored it and just driven on regardless.

However, I have not reset for some time and on using the car after being away for a week - no light at all?? Does the car know that action is planned so it has decided to behave??

Still not sure about tomorrow as explained by pm to chrisgixer the other day but if it is 11am or so start then there is a chance.

Have a great day if I do not see you.

I think all in all a successful day :)

chrisgixer got his lamdas moved without removing the cats from the cat, and also his spare cats (which obviously were off the car) moved as well.

Kevin Wood got his moved, but broke a sensor, so had to nick one off chrisgixer's spare cats.

I had the bosses welded in place, but the sensors looked pretty stubborn, so as mine didn't need moving anyway (yet), we left then alone. With the bosses in place, should be easy to move when that day comes.  Also had the steering idler replaced, and the handbrake sorted, so thats all the MOT advisos dealt with.

Thanks to Cabby, EMD, chrisgixer and Kevin Wood for their company today, but especially thanks to Serek and Marks DTM for the superb location and tools.  TB knows what he wants for Christmas, reckon I could be trusted?

I would have got my oil changed if I'd remembered the bloody filter ;D

Still, I think the useless student is back this way soon, so I'll nick his jack when he's not looking  :-X

Thanks so much to Serek and MarksDTM for giving up their Sunday for this. I rekon it took less than half hour each car once it was all set up?

Loads of room to get tools in for the new boss location.

Brilliant work shop and lift. Nice premises there Serek. :y

Plasma cutter. It's like drawing, but with a small light sabre. ;D Brilliant thing. :y

(Adds to Xmas present list) ...and TB, no, definately not. ;D

Cutting. Slightly blurred pic as its a zoomed in snap shot from the original, more distant original, but you get the idea.

Marked location being cut out.
