Free DVD/Buy & Keep for Sky Customers
« on: 14 September 2017, 11:43:14 »

Got Sky?

Sky Store are offering a free 'Buy & Keep' for The Amazing Spider Man film.

https://www.skystore.com/product/the-amazing-spider-man/7ad910f0-f617-403e-9799-4b0881aa7daf

You can download it your Sky Box and keep it for free (unlimited downloads, if you delete) - They also pop a DVD version of it in the post for you.

Either order for free online above, or you can do it via the Sky box. Just navigate to Sky Store from the EPG and search for spider man, cost should show as £0.00  :y

Sorts a Christmas present for free at least  :D

No one I know has a DVD player. We got a free film a while back, and DVD through the post, for being customers for 10 years......or was it 15? VIP club or something.

Really?? I have one....rarely use it tho....As I tend to buy DVD's then back them up from my PC into an ISO file and copy the ISO onto my TV Box and play them from there....I would have thought most peeps have a DVD player or a Bluray player  :-\

I have one, use it all the time

Also I still have a VHS recorder/player, but never used. I move about three years ago, only then did I chuck my Sanyo Betamax recorder down the dump. In our caravan (no NOT the small touringblocktheroadstype) we have a combined TV/CD/DVD/VHS player. Still does the job as there's no TV signal, no cable, no mobile internet, no WiFi nothing.

Only you bunch of old farts would turn your nose up at a freebie  ::)  ;D

I don't use DVD's either, but as it's free it just sorted a free present.

I also never have a pressing need to see the latest film absolutely ASAP either at the cinema or on DVD or by whatever means, happy to wait for it to turn up in the bargain bucket at a motorway services, or wherever. I can wait, the world won't end if I don't watch it for a year or so  ::)

The place I do see dvds pop up still is in the car, a few of my friends have cars with DVD players in the headrests. Not bad on a long journey.

I also used to have some for my work laptop when away for a stretch in a part of the world with sh!t internet.
