Do we really think there is a socialist utopia which we are being prevented from reaching by the "capitalist pigs" ? ::)

Yep, North Korea they have to keep their borders closed to keep us westerners out.  ;D ;D ;D  Brain washing, starving population, execution of locals trying to cross into China, is all Western propaganda spread by capitalist pigs, just like it was in the days of the USSR   ::) ::) ::)

Socialism is so good, China hasn't thought of adopting capitalism to increase the countries wealth.  :o :o :o

Civilization has now ended until the end of March.  ::) Light at 5:30am when most of us need it and dark at 5pm when most of us don't,  >:( to keep the 8.4% of the UK population that live in Scotland happy.  :o

This is one chore I really hate, which is why most of my clocks are now the radio controlled kind, so they adjust themselves.  :y

All scams find the truth an inconvenient fact.  ::)

I've yet to hear a climate change expert, explain why this time it is different when the polar ice caps have melted, twice before, before man existed.  ::)

Why are the cardigan wearing tree huggers, always trying to keep things steady state anyway, as evolution has always depended environmental changes. Without an asteroid impact that wiped out the dinosaurs, mammals would not have come to the fore, so we exist.  :y

RIP a classic eccentric Englishman. Achieved much good in his life and entertained millions of people, for which I'm sure he will be remembered.  :y

Anybody seen a list of the MPs that voted against. If my MP didn't then I won't even tactically vote Tory instead of UKIP in the future, as it shows that the Tory EU skeptical marketing, is just a pack of lies.  >:( >:( >:(

David Cameron's suggesting  he would hold a vote of Lisbon treaty and then using weasel excuses to abandon this, just shows him up, for what he is, an unprincipled chancer out to get our votes by any deceitful means IMHO. If he had any principles, after his previous promises on an EU referendum he would have allowed a free vote on this motion.  >:( >:( >:(

When I had a problem where a rat, a few years a go, had got into my utility room. I moved the freezer so it was in the open and my Yorkshire terrier did the rest, with the rat dispatched in seconds.  :y

Glad you and your family are ok and I send my commiserations to all of your fellow citizens who are suffering as a result of the earthquake.

RIP. Commiserations to his family and friends and my thoughts are also with Rossi and Edwards. Especially Rossi as Simoncelli was a close friend.  :'(

A great talent and character who will be sorely missed.  :(

Ok, give them the choice, Afghanistan or to be dropped in a Cardiff shirt into the middle of the Millwall home supporters stand. I'm sure they would pick Afghanistan every time as they would have an outside chance.  ::) ;D ;D ;D

General Discussion Area / Re: Cubby Holes on estate
« on: 23 October 2011, 04:06:38 »
My Volvo 960 estate, now that had real cubby holes. when you lifted the floor for the spare wheel there was a 6" deep space to store stuff and then either side of the spare wheel, a floor panel lifted out, which gave you a space about 12" deep x 9" wide and 18" long. When I used to regularly go to France these were really useful additional storage areas.  ;D ;D ;D

The car's performance was about the same as 3L miggy, the biggest problem was the car's handling, worse than a camel.  ::)
