You've forgotten to update your profile with your latest purchase. Probably just an oversight, eh? :)
-
Maybe you're just getting a bit forgetful. Should I ask Jaime to do it for you? ;D

-

Small hatch? ;D ;D ;D ;D
Anyone would think you were ashamed of it. Wait till the temperature drops, ice and snow on the road, you'll be saying "Come on little car, you can do it little car, good little car, I love you" 💕 ;D
-
I'm sure this is the sort of cunning plan that Baldrick would be proud of where it's holiday season, so Albs blends in with the locals while touring France. :P Do you need any help choosing the best tourist guides & language courses so you can fit & talk like the locals? :P
This should help to get you in the holiday mood. :-X

Unless I find some tippex marks or similar under the cover then I reckon I will be changing it in the near future. Watched a video on youtube last night and it looks like a right pita, but if it has to be done...…. ::)
-
I've pulled 100k belts off before and the belt and rollers have been fine,
also had to recover my brother from a live lane of the A38 due to a snapped cambelt
it's a gamble if you don't replace them
if you do replace them , the skin Does grow back on your knuckles eventually :y
-
A French icon, let me think.
Clousoe, De gaulle, Napoleon,, no none of them. What about a French Letter. :D

Tbh I suspect its been done as the car looks like its been well looked after until someone hit it up the arse. Trouble is, knowing my luck it hasn't and if I don't do it soon I will be left with a pile of worthless plastic and metal. Mostly plastic actually. ;D
Although I hate to admit it, it actually isn't a bad little car to drive, in its own cheap plasticy way. :-[ :D

They aren't too bad to do,early ones had the crank sprocket not keyed so much care and correct lock kit required, later ones are keyed so easier to deal with

To get the best from your new car Albs, you need to learn to drive like the French! :y

Drove my grandaughters home from Bedford when she fell ill and had to go home to Mum. Was quite a fun drive down the A428/A14. A bit tinny and plasticky though. She now has a Sytner customised Mini, chavtastic. 8)

He's just observing the first rule of driving a "tin snail": NEVER lift your right foot. ;D
-
Ive had years of practice in that technique with the old 190D. Like driving a truck, if you lift your foot it takes way too long to get back up to speed, so its to be avoided at all costs. ;D

Ah yes, but you're going from riding a semi retired German cart horse to mounting a just broken in French filly who likes plenty of the whip! :)
Small French cars thrive on the red line! :y

Not if Im going to achieve the claimed 63mpg though. :D

I agree, Mr Beanz.
Despite this I'll take one SM, one Facel Vega, along with a brace of Bugatti, the other well known Frenchie. :y

As a kid our family had three of these. Most people of the time had no idea what they were.......or thought they were some sort of alien spacecraft. :y

TBH, I would take one of each, given half a chance (and a six figure sum to spend). :y

I drive a Battlebus. Acceleration was just a pipe dream when it left the factory.

I once managed a ton in one...
Took most of the A27 Emsworth bypass to reach it though :D

Is that where the plane was when they dropped it out the back, or where it landed? :D

Did I mention that it was a rental... So no aircraft needed :D
Besides, it can drive about three times further than an E Golf without stopping :P

Ahh that explains it, nothing in the world is faster than a rental car :y.
You forgot to add that it's top speed is also apparently higher than the golf ;D
