Eldest daughter has for the first time today been driving the micra runabout I purchased for her.Took her out with me to begin with, shes now gone off for the afternoon with it / boyfreind in toe, and all going well today she will drive it tomorrow from N Lincs to Plymouth.Jobs I`ve done on the micra since getting it last month include : dealt with some rust spots, new drive belts x 2, sparkplugs, fuel filter, new tyres, wipers, engine oil and filter , gear oil, replaced brake fluid/brakes/disks checked as fine together with coolant - roadside check this morning on some of these jobs before we took it for her first drive

As a concerned parent may well follow them back down to Plymouth ie 3 car convoy. Its a "noddy car" but by all accounts in tip top condition, but not a motorway car more a city runabout

Drained the pond out ,the area under the pollen filter  ::) Changed the pollen filter . Tried to polish the headlights "failed"  :( Fixed the loose battery  ::) Found a used crank sensor in the boot  ::)
Put it on eBay, some wazoo I will buy it. Tell them it's goosed, totally useless, it won't matter.

Tried to polish the headlights "failed"  :(

Try using the Headlight refurbish 3M kit that you use with a variable speed drill, the results are usually pretty good on headlight lenses that have gone yellow.

With oil and filter, I usually lob 5.5ltrs in and see where the level is after a warm up.

Finished greasing the brake pipes and ferrules for Thursdays MOT on the Elite. I'll give it some cat cleaner and an Eytie tune-up before she goes in. ::) :y

Topped oil up on 3.2 on Friday, gave it a bit of a clean. As it would be fully loaded, taking work mates to Go Ape  :)

Got fed up with the truck looking in a sorry state,so gave her a hand wash, then went to jet wash for another wash and rinse down, then back home, dried her down, then set to work removing scratches from where i had been off roading, now looks shinny and clean again.

Took the hard top off the M3 yesterday, gave it a wash and a few checks and then spent a very enjoyable 6 hours or so blasting around the Brecon Beacons with a couple of friends in their cars.

Today took it to the Morgan factory and had a ride out in a Plus 8 Speedster which literally took my breath away at speed. Although the driver was a rather tall, slim, attractive blonde which may have had something to do with it. Factory tour etc. it's an infectious place and now I really wish I had £90k to buy one..
