Hi guys

I have for sale a genuine and extremely rare Steinmetz rear spoiler with integral brakelight in A1 condition.  Would fit all except facelift models, currently painted in Polar Sea blue.

I've never seen another Omega with this spoiler fitted and I reckon you are unlikely to see another one of these for sale in future.

£250 inc. postage to mainland UK.

Hi guys

Decided to sell my spare Kent Moore timing kit for the V6 engines.  Looking for £85 inc. postage to mainland UK.

This is the genuine main dealer tool kit, not to be confused with the budget tool brands.

To anyone not in the know, this kit is essential when changing the timing belt on the Vauxhall and Saab V6 engines and covers the full range - Omega, Cavalier, Calibra, Vectra, Sintra, etc. and the Saab V6 models too.

All 5 components of the kit are present and correct - 2 x cam locks, crank holding/position tool, belt wedge (stops the belt slipping off the crank while you fit the rest of the belt) and the cam timing gauge.  The original carry case fell apart so it is in a new universal carry case which is roughly the same size as the original.

BTW, when adjusting the rollers you will also need a deep offset 30mm ring spanner like this one for £10 inc p&p

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / No wires for puddle lights!
« on: 05 April 2011, 11:49:54 »
I'm in the middle of fitting the leather interior from a 95 Elite into my 99 MV6 and was startled to find that there are no wires for the puddle lights on the door cards!!!

My 98 MV6 has them so WTH happened a year later?!?!

I thought the whole range had them - anyone else had this?

Was removing an old hands-free kit and had to take the climate control panel off to detach the phone cradle.

Found this lying on top of the wiring loom not attached to anything - it was quite badly bent, I've straightened it out.

Looks like a link rod to me, but where should it go and what does it do?  Climate seems to work fine.

Anyone know?

Cheers,
Stephen

Can anyone with a pre-FL Irmscher front bumper tell me if the grill is part of the bumper or is it like the standard bumper in that the grill is a separate part?

Omega General Help / What's a 98 'S' 3.0L MV6 Auto worth?
« on: 04 March 2010, 18:50:57 »
I'm considering a change (of Omegas, of course) and wondered what I could expect for my 98 'S' Silver Omega 3.0L MV6 Auto (Black Leather).

It's in very good mechanical condition, only 89k, cam cover gaskets, HBV and ATF done within last 10k.  The interior is good and the bodywork about average for it's age.

Advice appreciated, cheers.

Omega General Help / How to reset airbag light on 95 Elite
« on: 01 March 2010, 05:57:41 »
Hi guys

My Elite has been resting for the winter and on re-connecting the battery I'm getting the airbag fault light staying on.

Is it a Tech2 job to reset or is there a trick to do it?

Of course, it may actually have gone faulty...

BTW, it only has the 2 in the dash - no side ones like my MV6 has.

Any help most appreciated.

Cheers.

Can someone please move to Parts, ta.

Need a rear door wiring loom for my '95 Elite.  Prefer O/S but it doesn't really matter cos they're both the same.

MUST BE Part # 90 492 807 (Ident 3T)

Thanks.

ALSO POSTED IN TEST TO BE MOVED TO PARTS.

As above

Local breakers has a facelift Omega with HIDs and I'm considering getting them as spares for my '98 MV6.

Don't want to buy them if they won't fit though  ::)

Anyone know?

Can one of the mods please move this to parts please?  Ta!

After a few door parts for the "new" Omega

First, I need the external handle for the driver's door in Polar Sea Blue (dark met. blue) - don't really need the back-plate and all that just the handle itself as one of the hinges broke (have temporarily swapped it for the one off the back door).  Driver's rear door handle would do just as well because the actual handle bit is the same.

Second, O/S rear door wiring loom Part # 90 492 807 (Ident 3T) - the central locking motor and speakers don't work but the window and puddle light do.  There appears to be damage to the loom where it passes from the door pillar into the door so I suspect this is root of the problems.

Also need...

Driver's door speaker

Driver's door clip-in part of grab handle in grey

Driver's door clip-in part of grab handle in black

Cheers.

Hope someone is able to oblige here.

I have an '88 3.0L MV6 Auto and am in the process of retro-fitting cruise control.

The bit that has me stumped is the mounting of the auxilliary water pump as fitted to models with AirCon.  The current bracket for it bolts onto where the cruise actuator goes and won't fit once the cruise unit is in.

I can see on EPC that there is an alternative mounting that just has the rubber sleeve with studs sticking out of it but I can't see where that would fit on either.

I'm sure it'll all make perfect sense once you see where everything should go, so if anyone with cruise and AC can take a couple of snaps of this area then I'd be very grateful.

I just hope it doesn't need different hoses 'cos I've not long changed the coolant.

Cheers.

As above, pair of 3.2 exhaust manifolds required for on-going project.

Set of 4 '99 Mini Facelift MV6 doorcards with unmarked carbon trims and very good speaker grills - the doorcards themselves, however are split at the screw holes on the edge in one or two places where someone has not known how to remove them properly (not noticeable when they are on).  £30 + postage, or £25 inc postage for just the carbons.

Also have the carbon trim that sits under the handbrake lever for manual gear change.  £25 inc. postage.

Hi guys

For sale I have a set of inlet runners and divider complete with cleaned injectors, fuel rail and wiring.

Originally from a 2.5 but, as you can see, the runners have been opened out to 3.0 size and matched to the divider flange plate, also the injector ports have been blended out.

All done professionally by a local engineering company.

Looking for £60 + postage
