Thats an idea m8 :y

The beast failed its mot last week, rear spring & droplink, its in getting fixed on friday & re tested, so we should be cool.

Any probs & we'll be showing up in the mither-in-laws renault megane :-[ oh the shame!!

I hate MOT fail time!

I got both my rear springs done last year. Well, me and a mate did them. Loosened the strut top bolts, lifted the car, i pulled down on the rear wishbones, my mate pulled the springs out.

And In the words of Sir John Haynes, "refitting is the reversal of removal"!

Both springs were about £30 I think.

Dont worry about the meggy, have you seen my post,

Looks like I may have to become a doubtfull attendee.....   :-[

Just back now (2100 hrs or so) this evening from a few days away to discover my 22 year old has put his car through a severe pothole earlier this evening and damaged both offside rims and tyres and has  probable suspension damage as well.  Will need to examine car better in the morning and, if needed, go car shopping in a hurry as he needs it for Monday morning.....

His wallet, not mine.....     ::)
