fitted new grille......    wow,  i took a screw driver to my car !!!!!

not actually sure i like it all that much.....

now REALLY wondering what it would look like in silver..... and whether i can remember how to wield a spray can....  pondering taking it back off, priming it and getting a silver top coat on it....   haven't decided about whether it should be as near the same as the car as possible, or a contrast, maybe a graphite or something??  or some kind of darker silver....

Wheel bearing, drop links, replaced brake fluid (eezibleed rocks!) and fuel filter. And taken loads of iced drinks - wow it was hot for working on a car outside!

Re the fuel filter, Haynes book of danglies says put the clips on the new filter then plug it in.  The OOF maint guide says put the clips into the ends of the fuel lines then plug the filter in.  I am here to tell you that OOF is right and Haynes is wrong!

Spent the morning swearing at the drop links on the back of the MR2. Spent the afternoon swearing at the other drop links on the MR2  ;D Stupid design.

Oh and found the giant rust hole in the passenger sill that the 300ZX failed it's MOT on - it's fist sized and right through the outer sill  :-[ Parp.

Bashed the nearside wing mirror into a concrete pillar trying to squeeze into the last remaining parking space at work, only to find out that, once I was in, I couldn't open the drivers door anyway thanks to the person next to me.

I bloody hate Mondays.

;D No, I'll just get up earlier to find a decent parking space.. ;) Fortunately the mirror only caught the black plastic part rather than the body coloured part, so it doesn't show up too much.

Although educating the post is tempting ..

Trust me, you will feel so much better...  ...until that twinge of embarrassment becomes overwhelming.

I'll have you know that my left foot's pain was not caused by kicking anything. AFAIK, anyway :P
