Who.

Exactly hardly worth mentioning in the circumstances.

Are you oppsing joking?  I hope so.

Despite what your personal thoughts are on a particular person, a human being is a human being unless they have committed atrocities.

To say "Hardly worth mentioning" is completely disrespectful.

And no, I'm not turning Woke..... but you save that sort of shit for Terrorists, or Jeremy Corbyn, not some lass who has died of a mental illness (which Anorexia effectively is).

As for the other comment;  I find it amusing that when a women shows she may actually have skills, knowledge and experience maybe more than the men feel they have, the tone of conversation becomes defensive, and then goes on the attack, as they feel she may be a threat to their domination of the World.  Then the attack on their credentials starts with much twisting of the woman's claims and her actual abilities.  Very funny really and I have noted it for a long time in business and in the politics of the World  :P :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

Au contraire Miss Zoom.  I think it is wonderful that you have had the experience, creating the knowledge you have gained.  It's just highly amusing that you shoehorn it into every post!  :D

I'm only having a friendly dig.  :y

I've bought countless things on Wish.

95% is utter dog-shit..... but the 5% which is really good value for money more than makes up for it.

It's a brilliant business model.  Everyone who buys from Wish know they may receive something crap...  it's part of the fun.

I use it mainly for buying hose stocking-filler type gifts for people.... stuff which costs a couple of quid, but will add entertainment.  I certainly wouldn't order anything that I had to rely on.

Of course, the vast majority of products are shipped direct from Chy-na.

« on: 07 April 2021, 00:09:15 »
I'm sure I've written here before, but the 'new' Top Gear is actually quite watchable.  Whether that is comparing it to the Chris Evans era, I don't know, but it's gone back to a similar format as the Clarkson, May, Hammond era.

If you aren't completely adverse to technology, Chris Harris' has a brilliant YouTube channel.  His natural enthusiasm for cars is evident in all the video's he shares.

Back to the Monaro.  I'm pretty sure I'd never own one.  I really don't understand why Vauxhall imported it at all.  A large coupe with terrible fuel consumption was never going to work, especially back then.

The VXR8...... yes.  A big 4 Door Saloon.... a useable waste of money.  I reckon if it was available in the Estate (like it was in Aus), they would have sold more.

EDIT TO ADD:  I've never owned an Estate car......... but if the VXR8 was available, I'd buy one.

In short, this country of ours has a lot of dirty, lazy and stupid people who have no respect for themselves, their national, nor environment, growing up in a throw away society that often does not care where and when they "throw away"!! >:( >:( >:(

The penalties for litter louts should be a lot more than they are now, or they should be shot!  ;)

Ahem.  All brought up, and nurtured by your generation.  :-X

Without proper codes, we haven't got a clue.  :y

Factory fitted ;D, although given the apparent abuse the cats are probably shot.

A decent spanking every so often helps keep them clean, but the 2.6, whilst hardly a gutless dog, is no performance car. Also I wonder what we're not being told :-\

Any recent work? Any mods?

Indeed.  OP states it will change into top at 115MPH.  It's been a few years since I owned an Omega, but it was closer to 130MPH.  However, OP states the EML comes on (at ~115MPH) so I'll hazard a guess that Sport Mode is deactivated??????

High revs for a prolonged period of time could point to anything.  I know for fact that the pre-cat codes won't rein-in the power.... so there's something else going on here.

Have had Bank 2 sensor changed ( error code P0403), and tried the sports button again. same issue again with top gear not being reached and then engine management light lights up. turn car off restart and problem cleared. 1 min later bank 2 sensor comes back again

P0403 is EGR fault.

What light are you ACTUALLY seeing?   ::)

You are aware, I hope, that top gear will not be engaged when in Sport mode (until you are about 130MPH)
Which it doesn't have :-X

Exactly..... and I wonder why OP has come here with a 'gearbox error' and states P0403.

I'll wager that because it's in Sports Mode, it won't change into top and giving pre-cat codes due to being strangled to death.... (although pre-cat codes are very common on the 2.6/3.2)

Wait until the Woke community learn that "Black" in Spanish is "Negro" (or Negra for feminine)

El Gato Negro (The Black Cat)
El Perro Negro (The Black Dog)
El Negro (The Black Man)

How long before all Spanish speaking nations have to change their language?

I want to add that "Negro" is pronounced 'Neh-grow' and not 'Knee-gro'

Fizzy drinks like Coke/Tango/Sprite etc just seem like a can of bubbles to me, which does little to quench my thirst.  :-\
I drink mainly tap water and tea now, but may have the odd Lager of a weekend or on a nice summers evening. Might have one tonight as it's my birthday.  :)
Back in the day, I used to make home brew beer and wine but it's not worth the hassle now. The milkman used to wonder where his crates were going, as I made my beer in pint bottles as well as barrels.  ::)

Happy Birthday old boy.  I'll have a beer to celebrate!  ;)

As DG above has said - You need the codes from the TCM.  Without them, you are pissing into the wind.

Out of curiosity though;

What happens if you do the same run WITHOUT sport mode enabled?

If you are just doing a very long WOT run, Sport Mode will make absolutely no difference to performance at all.

« on: 29 March 2021, 19:24:56 »

At risk of asking a stupid question...

How is that billed?

I'm on EE, so I'll use them as an example, but the same applies to most, if not all the other networks.

I make a call (using WiFi).  The call is connected to the EE network by using data over the internet instead of using the 3G/4G/5G signal.

The date/time/duration of the call is logged exactly as it would be if using the Mobile Signal.

All calls/texts are billed the same as a standard call, so if you have an unlimited plan, you don't pay.  If you have unused minutes/messages you don't pay.
