Looks like its burnt perhaps from someone trying to burn there way into a safe or something like that.

How would you prove it's yours though?

I was told in the local plodshop that they dont accept lost property anymore and it's finders keepers.....

 :o I still use £1.oo notes, got loads of them in the mattress, can't spend them so might as well put them to some use....... ;) ;) :y
