Omega General Help / Powersounder..
« on: 26 September 2007, 00:18:22 »
My dads power sounder keeps going off randomly.

its done this ever since i sent a pheasant to meet its maker.

It hit the bumper and broke the bottom bracket for the headlight.

any ideas what would cause this?  have since disconnected it and its making life easier on the ears (and the neighbours!)

Omega General Help / Central Locking
« on: 17 September 2007, 15:02:48 »
The central locking works from the remote and the key.

however,  from the remote it doesnt always lock the drivers door, and sometimes it does.

also, had to disconnect the passenger side CDL as it wouldnt open at all with the CDL connected - will this need a new module??

will the drivers side be a new module?

Omega General Help / Dicky D starting problem
« on: 09 August 2006, 09:06:54 »
Why would a 2.5TD 'meg have a starting problem when there is less than 20 litres of fuel in it?

When the car has 20 or more litres, it starts instantly.

less than 20 litres, and it cranks over for about 5 seconds before spluttering into life.

any ideas???

« on: 11 October 2007, 15:17:08 »
In relation to http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1191336111, we need at least 10 people to attend the rolling road day.

I will require a deposit from the people who want to attend once the date has been arranged, but it wont be in October, so should give you all plenty of time :)

Cost for the rolling road day will be £35.

I am going to contact Total Vauxhall to see if they're interested in covering the day!

Please put your name down if you'd like to attend.

General Discussion Area / Omega 3.2 / 2.6 ECU's..
« on: 07 November 2007, 09:50:18 »
Hi guys,

In my quest to hopefully be able to offer you the option of having your cars "chipped", I am wondering if it may be possible for someone with a 3.2 and a 2.6 Omega to look at the outside casing of their ecu and tell me what the numbers are on it?

Also, is it possible for some one to perhaps get a photograph of the inside of the ecu for the 3.2 / 2.6 please?

Thanks :y

General Discussion Area / 2.0 Rechipping??
« on: 05 November 2007, 15:27:05 »
After having a conversation with a company on Sunday, it is looking likely we are soon going to be able to offer ecu flashing services for the 2.0 Omega :y :D

We are also in talks to get a 3.2 option available too!

Am I right in thinking that the 3.2 uses the Bosch Motronic 2.8.3 ECU?

General Discussion Area / Rolling Road Day - Hull?
« on: 02 October 2007, 15:41:51 »
Anyone interested in a Rolling Road day in Hull?

We have just become re-sellers for the Dreamscience engine re flash modules, and as Dreamscience are based in Hull, we have asked them if they'd be interested in doing a rolling road day for us.

They have a 2wd Rolling road.

This could also be linked in with having your car chipped by us if you are interested.

The Dynometer used is pretty accurate by all accounts - every car i saw being tested on Sunday just gone (and there were many difference ones!) made about the right power the mods should have, or being a standard car should of.

£35 gets you either:-

2 power runs
1 power run and a 1/4 mile run
2 1/4 mile runs

Yes, the rolling road has the functionality to allow you (you get to drive the car on the rollers for the 1/4 mile run) to do a 1/4 mile without having to go to Santa Pod etc!

We would provide a trophy etc for best car of the day :)

Is anyone interested?
