Rescuing our 4x4 today
« on: 25 April 2015, 08:47:23 »

It slid off the steep track into a ditch last night. easy to get complacent with the go anywhere, get out of anywhere ability.

Front right wheel dangling in ditch with nothing under it. Rear left wheel just touching ground. Front right chassis (remember those!)resting on a large rock.

Anyway after looking to see if anything got broken underneath it should be straightforward to lever the wheel up with a long metal pole and build up the ditch with rocks. That is the mornings activity here in paradise. ;D

Would you like me to bring the MX5 back? That seemed to cope OK. :P

In all seriousness, hope you get it back on the road again with no damage. :y
