Astra driver information query
« on: 27 April 2015, 17:41:32 »

My Astra has the very basic functions displayed on driver display. Digital speed and two trips on one menu, and oil service reset with imperial/metric options on the other.
Can a tech 2 program functions such as mpg, mileage remaining, etc. Are the electronics already in place?

Very helpful. I want to know if my car is achieving 38 or 40 mpg, not 18 or 20.
And it's bought, not brought.

I'm staggered it's not already there? No mpg details  :o  :o :o

Surely is just software enable, how cheap and crap of Vx not include it on an £8k car that was what, £10k new?

Try £17+K...

On the indicator stalk scroll up or down to change pages of the trip info menu... Mine has seven pages of trip/fuel info and three on tother... The menu button on the front of the stalk only changes between trip and unit menus... Up and down on the twist wheel on the indicator stalk changes the pages and the button on the end of the stalk is the reset button :y

Not on mine. When speed is being displayed, the thumb wheel just scrolls between trip 1 and trip 2. The menu button just flips to a second menu..reset oil usage or change units from imperial to metric.

Where have you been, Tunnie? Can't even get a decent Dacia for 10K.

Ah ok... Tech 2 with Candi module might do the job :-\ A day trip to Nottingham could be in order :y

£17k for a car without mpg readout? Modern Vauxhalls really are cost cutting.

There is one lower down from mine, The ES, that has no cruise control and no steering wheel controls, also no pockets in the seat backs.
