Anyone got a pic of. . .
« on: 27 April 2015, 20:02:37 »

. . . The cambelt routing of an 04 suzuki alto. It's a simple sohc so I'm thinking it will just be a 12 o clock Mark or notch on the crank sprocket and similar on the cam pulley. But as this is coming up on the mother in laws car would just like to confirm as I'd like to do it for her.

Also presuming WP is cambelt driven also but if anyone has one of those awesome autodata pics with if possible instructions then that would b e sweet as.

Remember I'm still learning cambelts and only just done my first live one lol

Nice one Jason. And thanks to martin for pm.

That Tensioners odd lol would expect a arrow to move round and line up with something?

Anyways I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Quicky question re the ford zetec belt as I'm getting as much belt info as I can learn. . . . There's a great two part vid Bon you tube. I understand absolutely everything except why he  takes the cam pulleys off? Cams are in time with the bar in the rear end of the cams. Yet he then takes the pulleys off? Ant idea?

Exactly what I thought mate. Re watched that part of the vid. The quality isn't great and perhaps he doesn't remove them. . . Difficult as they vid keeps jumping.

I presume as you put the bar in the back are the pulleys then free to spin? Looks like it from the vid
