Thought about FL bonnet - they do look nicer but I've managed to 'modify' my current grille to fit. I've kept pre-FL headlight trims and it dosn't look too bad.

If I find a FL bonnet at the right price in Z147 I could be tempted though... (are the fixing points and release cath in the same place?)

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

yeah the fixing holes for the mounts and gas struts are the same, slam panel is also the same apart from the facelift doesnt have the hole for the washer bottle neck.

Some of the colours of the prefacelifts and minifacelifts were discontinued when they introduced the facelift models, so you will need to make sure they didnt stop your colour, otherwise its a respray jobbie, probably just aswell as there will be stonechips on any second hand bonnet you get.

F/L bonnet hasn`t got washer jets fitted so you`ll have to reposition existing ones :)
