CONNECTOR LOCK
« on: 27 August 2019, 13:45:46 »

Omegas did not have these additions, but Astras and Vectras have extra items on their connectors, like above yellow tag. I imagine their function is to make the connection more secure. I found they make disconnection more difficult. What is the correct procedure to disconnect such a  connection?

Squeeze the barbs together and pull the lock tab out and then release the connector :y

That's without being able to see the picture...

You need to see the picture  ;)
I'd guess the yellow tab needs pulling down first. :-\

Terry asks that many questions that he'd be better off using a hosting site that works for all. I just get a little square, no picture.

Yellow tab pulls out, then black tab presses down and the plug pulls out :y

Thanks to all for advice, and my apologies for the caps title.
FWD cars involve doing many tasks lying on my back, looking up and groping, and I often see just one barb, and so find it difficult to unplug things.

Themes of a sexual nature at your age Terry. Really. ::)
