vent housing cleaning
« on: 12 November 2018, 11:09:22 »

Am I correct in believing that the vent housing is behind the 1,3,5 bank on the driver's side and not the passenger side as stated in Fuse 19's excellent guide, or am I missing something basic?
Would appreciate confirmation, please.
Cheers,
Bill.

Yes, and if I am thinking correctly that it is the unit you are mentioning (the breather main box with the pipes coming out of it), on the 3.2 it is at the top of the block, not at the bottom as on previous engines. ;)

Ok, Lizzie! Thanks.
I should be able to get my arthritic hands to it reasonably easily, then.  :y

I'm afraid it is still a struggle as it is still right behind everything else.  I got Serek of SOS to clean mine this time! :D ;)
