sorry to read this Tony...with regards to care homes you only hear the bad...I am in and out of care homes most days now and I have not found one that I wouldn't mind staying in as the care received is second to none...and we work for a few big companies including BUPA and local authorities as well

I cook all poultry upside down for the at least the first half of the cook and then turn it over to brown the skin.  All the fat off the belly seeps down in to the breast and you get a very tender moist bird (ooeer missus ::) :P)

Make sure it is well trussed though or it will fall to bits.

If STEMO is reading this he'll break his Banana!  ;D ;D ;D
You'll be gettin me a bad name, lad.

What you talking about you already have that :y

Someone mention Bi Turbo, what has happened to Vauxhall.  :-[Was having a chat with 2 Commercial Gas installers today vehicle of choice Vx Vivaro Bi Turbo 64 reg. nothing but grief since day 1. Regular Ecu faults, with the the latest being engine telling Ecu I'm Struggling to tow this Cherry Picker so ain't doing more than 35mph. It required a Re Map :o. On top everything else they look awful. Says he who drives 64 Transit Custom 42,000 miles and hasn't skipped a beat :y

Vauxhall / Renault know there is a inherent fault with the Vivaro / Trafic. The ECU faults (or check injection system) has it reports is a known fault. We have a fleet of 38 of the damn things and one by one they go and Vauxhall don't seem to be able to repair them and at circa £24,000(guess there are cheaper alternatives) it is a pretty poor show
