wipers
« on: 21 May 2012, 21:26:39 »

Me again ::) ::)
Could someone with rain sensing wiper's be so kind as to look at the windscreen where the sensor is mounted and let me know:-
A, Where the sensor fit's to the screen

B, Should there be any blackened screen around the sensor?

I only ask as i'm trying to sort the non working pulse on the wiper's and having removed the plastic inner cover i've found that the screen behind said cover is painted with black gloss with the sensor loose in the cover.

There should be a mount bonded to the inside of the screen that the sensor clips into.

Sounds like a non auto wiper screen has been bodge fitted at some point, and they have painted the screen so it looks right from the outside.  :(

Thanks Josh...just what i need!!

Twiglet.   Correct i think...that would answer why i have 2 metal spring clip's on the sensor with nowhere obvious to put them.

Cheers Gent's
