Had two lower arms fitted ready for the MoT retest tomorrow. Front end now feels much more secure

And changed the oil and filter as the car was due one... Last serviced in 2022, but barely 7k ago. Seeing the state of the filter and the colour of the oil I probably should have done it when I bought it :-[
people tell fibs and stamp service books without doing any work  :(
always worth checking what's been lied about when buying a new car  >:D
good luck with the MOT

Taking a car for a brisk drive in the wet on Branded Tyres isn't very exciting, now fit some Cheap ol', Chinqy Stonking Horse, and that'll get you old duffers heart racing, and maybe the Angels won't catch you as they won't know we're your going.  ;D
;D
You invalidate the Omega's warranty if don't fit GENUINE tyres ,brought from a genuine dealership that you have to go in to to buy in person  :P

Do you think it might work on the wife?
They are complex ,way beyond sensible reason or logic ,no repair manual available either,
if they develop too many problems you're best off getting a new one   ;)

Why is it that when you lay out the power cable, water hose and HP line to the Karcher power washer gun carefully and all routed separate from each other that within ten minutes it's like a plate of soggy spaghetti with them all twisted around each other  >:(
Buy a High pressure hose extension  ;) don't move the pump about  :)
then it's just the HP hose ends up in knots  :D

That said , It MIGHT be solid ,not much information in the listing

MOT history only goes back to 2006  :-\

It just needs a government to remove the 20% of un-insured drives, unlicenced drivers and cretin drivers from the roads ,make them use 'public transport'
oops  :-[
I must be 'sleep typing' , it was all a dream  :P

The 4 cats off a V6 alone are worth double that if original and good  ::)
on-line scrap car buying sites would better £200
have you offered it for sale on OOF ? or parts ?
that's also assuming it's beyond repair  :-\

MOTed the Zafira A "elegance" tractor juice edition
no advisories  :)
I'd prepped/serviced  it before hand over the last few days
2 new rear springs ,3 brake pipes ,new rear disks and pads ,new brake fluid , oil and filter and 4 cans of anti rust paint
parts total £185 (all classed as "service items" IMHO)
that's the 7th MOT i put on it , 50000 boring miles driven in six years & six months
fortunately not many of those miles where driven by me  :D

Currently in Iceland 🇮🇸 on my holibobs. Been looking out for omegas as I always do.. then I thought.. were they even available here?

There are a lot of new cars, leccy cars etc. however there are a lot of old shitters too. Seen a fair few Astra H’s in HB and estate form. Seen quite a few Suzuki Leannas lol

clicky   ;D

Enjoy your break  :)
