Omega's rule the World
« on: 20 July 2006, 09:23:46 »

My dad has a 10 acre field that has just been baled and I went up there last night to help him bring it in to the barn.

The tractor and trailer did not turn up!!

So used a flatbed trailer on the back of the omega and brought the hay home!   60 bales per load and the girl just let the world go by all evening - not a bit of bother.  ;)

What else have you done with your meega  :question

Drove from Cublington in Bucks/Beds to my house in Dunfermline in Fife in 4.5 hours.

That's 410 miles and included two fuel stops!!

Aye t'was. Left at 12:20am and arrived at 04:50am one Sunday morning a couple of weeks ago. in fact, if you deduct ten minutes for the fuel stops, it actually works out to something more like 95, but let's not be picky!!  ;D

TBH Bob, it didn't make a whole helluva lot of difference. I only get about 300 or so miles out of a tankful even when I'm driving more moderately.

Guess I've got to agree with you there Rod. Without turning this into another mpg thread, don't get much more than that myself from a tankful. Not that I ever exceed the speed limit of course ;)
