Had a look at my rattly air compressor pulley on the Mundano and have a plan involving tap washers.  :)

Perhaps a name change to FOOF is in order?
Go on, I'll ask. FOOF, Nick?  ::)

I'll hazard a guess at "Former ......   OOF"   :)

More astras on here than omegas. AOF anyone?  ;D
We need Astras as daily drivers ,because Omegas cost too much in fuel and repairs and you'd have to be deranged to drive one every day ......

Oh , Wait , :-[

scratch that

we need Astras because Mrs builder can't carry 24 cans AND shopping up the hill  :y

Chopped out the rust from the nsr of the 190. Cut out a plate to weld in the hole. Hoping to weld it in tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
Drove it to Sudbury to collect 40 litres of free fuel which is a reddish colour and stinks of Tandoori, or some similar indian flavour.
TB would be constantly hungry if he drove this car. ;D
Had an 03 plate Diesel Omega in rare silver in front of me as I drove through Sudbury.

Had to use aircon in 3.2 as it was quite warm today, surprised it still worked properly and blew chilled air.  :o

I do leave it in auto all the time, but most years it stops working at some point over Christmas.
You are aware the compressor will not engage below 4C.  Which is why on most Omegas with working AC, you get to winter, driving happily down the road, and then it suddenly mists up :D

For others, I assuming tunnie means ECO off, as he's been told to ;)

Drove it to Gaydon, where that nice DTM fella bought me breakkie - cheers Mark, defo my shout next time!

Drove to Witney to sort out a pesky server at one of bro's shops.

Drove it to Kidlington to buy some wire for the rebuilding of the Quanum Venture.

That's probably the longest non work trip its had for months

Fault found, part ordered, just need to wait for it to arrive. Although it was egay, so probably the wrong bit will turn up weeks late.
Needless to say, the oppsing part didn't turn up today, despite ordering Saturday, and the listing claiming it would be posted same day if before 2pm (so posted Monday) and I paid next day.

oppswit oppsing ebay oppsing sellers. I oppsing hate them. oppsing retards, universally.
Finally, the bit arrived.  I reckon would have been quicker direct from Hotpoint, as well as cheaper.  In fact I reckon the oppswit oppsing egay seller probably has none, and orders from his supplier/hotpoint when somebody orders one, and simply lies that he will dispatch same working day.

RM package had an RM 24 mark on it, so I suspect the oppsing oppswit stupid egay seller dispatched it days after.

Did I mention I oppsing hate oppsing ebay sellers?

Ordered some connectors a couple of weeks ago, which turned up in the week.  They sent the wrong ones.

Are all oppsing ebay oppsing sellers oppsing stupid?

I ordered the stuff to pre MOT the Zafira off ebay and all arrived within 3 days, all parts correct less than £75
(front spring,anti-roll bar links, track rod ends, air, oil, fuel filter kit,aux belt roller)
only thing i sourced elsewhere was a front number plate (was cracked)
getting new plates is a PITA ,need log book etc

I've ordered appliance parts too without issue

do you check the "oppsing ebay sellers" feedback and star rating for delivery etc before ordering  :-\
or are you being victimized  ;D

Fitted the radiator (and fan) to the kit car .. what a ballache that was! Hopefully it never has to come out again, because there's at least two bolts that can only come out 1/16th of a turn at a time ;D

Also ordered about $4k worth of engine parts to be delivered to Miami and be loaded into a 40' container; $5k of gearbox will join that on Monday when MDL are open..

Oh .. and bought a leakdown tester & compression tester as Lou's (new to us) Mini has developed a blue smoke problem  ::)

I use ECO occasionally, mainly when I need all of the ponies.  :-X
