General Car Chat / Re: Costs of running a car
« on: 28 March 2024, 20:12:24 »
I've never owned a French car, a wise man said" never buy a French motor"
I once owned a Skoda 120 rapide, blew it up in a week,, and sold it to a Guy to use the shell for a rally car, for twice what I paid for it,,, I think the fact it had no sunroof, is what made it a good price

From memory, I think it was the Elring ones that used to go hard very quickly, and leak prematurely...

With the supply of certain parts becoming nls, beggars can't be chossers,, and if GM still have them,, gawd knows how much they will be.

.Rinz was oe supply

Yep, nice looking car.

It will be interesting to see how you get on with it over time.

What headlights do you have? I am unimpressed withmy bi xenons. I guess LEDs are the go to now.

It's got Bi-xenons that go round corners for some reason, How I've managed all these years going round corners I don't know..

The DS had them in the 70s  ;)

The French connection,, Being as Vauxhall is now part of PSA,,
