no power supply going to the lightbulbs
« on: 21 April 2014, 13:13:49 »

2 problems:

1) There is no power going to the sunroof light bulb.
2) tiny yellow diode on the driver's side outside mirror switch doesn't work

Did check the fuses and all is well. any thoughts, please?

I just found out the solution for the problem no. 2.
The yellow diode only works when the rear window heater is on. So the problem no. 1 still remains.

I need some help, folks.

Don't your main lights need to be on for the sunroof lamp to be lit?  :-\

If the sunroof is working then the bulb is gone

Yes, the sunroof does work but there is no power going to the bulb. I did change the bulb but it is the same.
maybe I have to become good at guessing at what position the switch is showing.
