Removing stereo in pfl
« on: 26 October 2014, 16:48:14 »

Haven't got any of the proper levers - but tried removing the head unit today to get to the bulbs in the back of the climate control. I used some small screwdrivers to wiggle the spring tabs back and tried pulling at the same but to no avail - tight blighter!!   >:(

Any pointers - or best get a set of proper removing levers?

As Al says, ideally you need the proper keys because you need to pull the head unit with the keys as it's difficult to be able to pull/push it out otherwise.

Thanks guys - I take it Halfords sell them - are they reasonably standard fit or specific to the head unit?
