I'm OCD with music. I can hear a track and be totally obsessed with it. Play it to death, incessantly for weeks. Then it's gone, like it was a completely different song. The magic disappears, it sounds flat, dull, and empty.

Inxs the gift being one. It came on the radio at work, I downloaded it off iTunes in the car and played it on the way home on repeat for weeks.(q AndyP)  Deap dirty basey rasp, that blended into a single guitar cord that made a melodic link with everything else in the song.

I played it today, after a week away on holiday, and it had gone. Completely fuddled as to what I heard in it.

Oddly the same thing happened when i first heard it when that Album was released years ago.

So, point is, pointless me posting as my judgement is clearly completely shot ;D

I hadn't heard this song for several decades, and then it suddenly popped into my head recently for some unknown reason.
