Hermes use local delivery agents.  And our lady is fantastic.  To the point, if Hermes is an option, we use it.

Same here - our local agent (John) is great; can tell when we're home by what cars are on the drive, usually, and depending on what is in the parcel either leaves it somewhere safe or with a neighbour if we're out..

..either that or maybe he's casing the joint and now knows when we're in and when we're out
