Cam Belt Meet - Kent to The Venue.

Afternoon all,

I suggested in the original CBM thread about the possibility of meeting at Clacket Lane Services on Saturday morning for those f us that live in the South-East quarter to convoy to the venue for the days activities.

So, 9am in the fuel station of Clacket lane to the far left hand side of the forecourt this Saturday (26th) morning.

If we aim to leave around 9.30 that should see us at the venue for around 10.30ish.

For the less geographically aware perhaps we should clarify that's the services on the Westbound carriageway. ;)

i think i should also point out anymore than 2 cars that are thought to be in convoy WILL be pulled by kent and surrey plod...this as been the case for at least 4 years now.. :y

I've NEVER had a problem in all the years i've been going to car shows all over the UK.

Point taken, but that's due to the groups that plod along at 50mph causing an obstruction.

its not thats the thing...stupid idea but i guess plod has to have something to do..might meet up with you guys but not sure what time i am leaving yet :y

Sorry but can,t make it as work calls, and missed last Saturday morning with our own mini-meet.

Will wait with anticipation of lots of good photos,please.

I'll be at Clacket Lane at 9am.  I'd like to try and get to "the venue" as close to 10am as we can if possible though, cos I suspect its gonna be a busy day!!

Having said that, I'll be cruising at a steady 70-80mph, so I'll make sure I keep well over to the left for ya Lizzie!!  ;) :y

I think that depends how the cars are being driven too ;) ;)

If you boys/girls do come in convoy, please be sensible :y :y

As I've said, I'll be taking it steady.  The Elite will be pretty well loaded with tool, parts, etc. 

Besides, I don't have the mig for screaming around with my hair on fire...  That's what the bike is for!!  ;) :y :y
