I need help with the old model of Omega in 1995.
I have Opel Omega b produced in 1995. The engine is a 2.0 16V, code X20XEV power of 100 KW.
The problem is that non-stop lights the lamp of fault on the engine, and an error in the diagnosis shows that the camshaft sensor is defective. Specify this is a mistake that shows:

Everything is examined in relation to the sensor, has the resistance which the manufacturer stipulates meaning that is totally correct. Installation connecting the sensor and computer also has been tested and it is correct. I even questioned the crankshaft sensor, which is also correct. The problem is that when the engine is turned on the lamp on the instrument panel went to the so-called '' safe mode '' and his power falls, it is much worse throttle response and consumes much more fuel, and the engine speed can not over 3500 rpm. To avoid any confusion changed the computer, Immobiliser with the key and after that again appears the same error. Changed the sensor and camshaft although existing correct ...
When via diagnostics delete the error that occurs, then there is no problem until the next ignition engine when immediately after power is displayed on the instrument panel. I noticed that when you suddenly turn off and re-start the engine in a split second when the engine is still in revs means turn and cut the engine just for a split second so that he continues to work, the light on the board goes off, and the engine runs great again until the next engine shut down when during the ignition again returns an error that I have listed above.

The 3.5k limit and "My Naff Code Reader"'s code suggest cam sensor.

The car is quite fussy with these sensors, and pattern ones are known to be problematic.  Replace with a genuine GM one from your local Opel dealer.

Purchased via Ebay? If yes... go to your local Opel dealer and buy it from them...

Cam and crank sensors must be genuine ones, purchased from a genuine dealer that you genuinely have to physically go to. Always.

Well, that's the problem, sensor is purchased in the Opel car home which is an authorized service of Opel vehicles. Not sold through E-bay .....

Hi!

So, you have replaced the sensor, and replaced the ECU/immobilisator, and there is absolutely no change in symptoms?
In that case you can rule out that components.

Have you checked the installation -> the connector which plugs onto the sensor can be faulty (loose connection, oxidised, cracked). Also, the wiring from connector towards ECU can be damaged (this will most likely be on a part from a connector towards the bundle, as it is quite exposed to heat and mechanical damages). This should be checked in detail.

Oh, I even wire by wire connecting the sensor with the new lugs that are soldered to the wires and checked over UNIMER conductivity to the computer, all right !!
