MB Hold system

The brake hold has stopped working on my C class.

Anyone got any ideas please?

No Menu settings for it, funny thing is neither have worked all day, until I just drove home from somewhere, both were working OK.

Wondering if battery voltage was low :-\ :-\ :-\

2014 E Class I used, Aux battery was dead and main one not in great condition, hold function still worked fine.

Have a code reader?

Got hill hold, on this Volvo, it's bloody useless, switch it on, get to traffic lights on slope, engaged--- then the bloody thing dis-engages... Sod it use aux-trailer brake.

Its a function of the ABS unit so make sure you check code status in that module

Put it on a trickle charger overnight, see if it fixes problem?

They do, but a seized or broken cable is easy to diagnose and cheap to fix.

Have you looked inside a Merc? ::)

 Merc has used a US style foot operated parking brake for a good number of years.  ;)
