Here's the bar for you midlands folk with 3.0 Miggies! Done a month ago at an ABS rolling road meet near Stansted, wasn't sure about the torque on the new tensioners so I whipped the front off and borrowed a torque wrench in the yard before going on the rollers, good to know I can't have got the timing too badly wrong!

We had four runs and mine produced steadily more on each one, starting with 216 and ending up with 229.9. It's auto, hence the squiggles! The numbers in red at the top are BHP at the wheels (above) and BHP at the flywheel (below).

The second image shows air/fuel mixture on the right hand axis.

That is the wierdest plot I have ever seen......you sure its not a scribble by a small child!

On the drinks and cakes front, I will see what I can do.

I also have a few 3.0 litre deadbugs for ECU's so a before and after would be very interesting if we have any volunteers?

I should think new underwear is required every time you go through 54 MPH. :o

Did someone hit the brakes during the coastdown?

From what I could work out, they couldn't stop the autos changing gear but putting them in Sport mode meant that they would get to the red line before changing up. The Jetex sounded nice on the rev limiter, never listened to it from outside before!

Ahh, it's an auto going up through the gears. That explains a lot.

Sorry but its all full up for this run . I did ask thoes wishing to go quite a while back (if you go back through the posts).

With just over a week to go its a bit late for cheques etc to clear in time.

Its nothing to do with ABS/OOF as such but i was asked to organise the run if i could to which there are members from three clubs attending.

I will have a word with Paul this weekend and see if anything can be done but don't take it as you will be coming until i have had a word.

Sorry if it disappoints but there should be another run early next year all being well.

take care brian

What about spectators, still room for them?  Not sure I can make it, but if I can, would like to be able to pop along :)

As previously stated the list is complete its NOT a free for all and any one can come along meet.
If any others want to spectate apart from who are on the list then there will NOT be room to park on the Industrial Estate as other business are also open.
There may be a couple of spots at the entrance as its set back a bit or on the next street and walk around.
If you wish to spectate only and are not on the list i need to be aware so please pm me so i can put you on a separate list.
Its NOT a OOF meet as Three clubs are involved. The other Traders on the site would not like loads of people walking around with no one aware of who they are.

A final update with directions etc will be posted tomorrow eve.

The ABS/OOF joint Monthly meet will be held just down the road at the Plank and Leggit on the same day. 12 noon start to which all are invited. A separate post will go up on this meet as well.

Sorry if this offends any one its not meant to so please don't take offence as none is intended.

take care brian

............Mine was worse than that! Think I'm right that mine was the first Auto up - (Alex, wasn't it?) it looks like spaghetti junction!

I think my first comment was something about my 4 year old having been let loose with his crayons....................

Gonna put a manual in and see if I can get anymore out of her............
