Pissed off that a minor chest infection and a tummy bug a couple of weeks back has sent my INR blood reading through the roof. Had to go in today to have that foul tasting Vitamin K fluid to try to reverse the symptoms.
On the plus side, I’m not allowed to do anything manual in case I cut myself and bleed to death, so bang goes her plan of me plumbing in the new vanity unit.

and some other: API GL-4 (75W-85), API GL-4 Synthetic (75W-85 & 75W-90)

which brand is recommended?
From abakus , TYC , John's autoteile , diederichs ...
have you noticed differences between them or are they all the same?

 
also I find the shock absorbers TRW at a good price... and I'm thinking of installing them. where is your knowledge?

but cant get on the app.  Seems they updated it and I have to reregister.

Had the same problem. Left them for SMARTY. No contract – can cancel at anytime – and uses the 3 network. Kept my old number. All done in a matter of days. 

Finished a head gasket repair on a friends 1.4 Turbo Zaf C.

I guess that is the smaller vent hose from the top of coolant elbow at the gearbox end of the engine to the header tank?

Yes it was this hose, 5 minute job thankfully. So much space in the engine bay!

I'm wondering about the exhaust flexi though when the time comes, can same thing that was done on the old 2.2 Omega's be done. In that the old flexi is cut out and a replacement welded back in?

I'd also like to clean the throttle body but not sure how. The ZafiraC forums are all into bonnet lip spoilers, rear wiper deletes and air intake replacements. 

Found a voucher for a local place to do an air con regass on the Galaxy.

500g out, 850g of refrigerant back in, no oil left in it either, 2g put in. Probably explains why the air con was cool, but not cold. Arguably should have done the cabin filter first, but no evidence of it being regassed in its (nearly) 11yrs I figured it was time either way.
