bought some pioneer speakers and adapter plates the difference in sound quality from standard head unit is amazing original speakers were rubbish in comparison,heard clarion and fusion speakers and all sounded great - pioneers were on offer for the 4!!!

there was a guy on fleabay who did mine charged a tenner for the head unit and multichanger just needed the serial no he emailed codes later that day he was luton way and very good!

jacksons scrapyard in queensferry have a 2.5v6 tourer in for breakin if any use to you - not far from the asda at queensferry

had similar problem on an astra ,it was the main earth wire at back of block for some reason it was giving strange signals to ecu when swapped all problems ceased best fiver i ever spent!

did this conversion a few years ago -bought an ex-police manual car with blown engine was handy having a complete car for all the silly little bits that add up to a fortune and are hard to obtain - other than that follow the link

have the same trouble -  stopped taking missus in the car problem stopped straight away and spookily i could hear the stereo again!!

knackered cats can cause all sorts of running probs but so can a variety of other things if eml is on get fault codes read or do paperclip pedal test yourself people often assume the worst whilst in fact the cats on migs are pretty good

seem to remember someone in states having cadillac (us omega) that had a supercharger fitted and it was a car specific kit - try as i might i can't find it again on web! car was silver and was a v6 looked like a facelift elite it seemed straightforward with remap being flashed.

had a range rover with same engine they recommended thinner oil than vauxhall to help get things moving quicker although it was the same especially in winter was almost as though there was no turbo -trait of the engine i think

only get about 20mpg out of my 3.2 but thats anaverage lpg calling!!!

Hi all  I am looking for a facelift estate non sunroof headlining, I have ex plod car and would like to replace for the civvy equivalent, also looking for a pillar trims

the best thing to is get the turbo off and see what make/model it is - you may find its fitted to a variety of other vehicles - not just cars just ensure oil pipes are in right place, i have found it cheaper to get original turbo repaired in my cossie owning days!

is the facelift elite your breaking saloon or estate i am after a pillar trims! and estate bits for ex plod!
sorry for butting in - think loom is in 2 bits radio one goes to connector block by drivers kick panel and is a nightmare to seperate!!

if you are in nwest a breaker in bolton has a couple of facelifts still had xenons on them but washers were gone already
